Every parent wants a nursery where their child can play, learn and grow in a safe and stimulating environment. At HunnyPot Nursery we place equal importance on both indoor and outdoor learning. Children need room to move, explore and imagine. That is why our setting is designed to spark curiosity from every angle and provide meaningful learning experiences throughout the day.
Indoor spaces created for every age group
HunnyPot Nursery has four indoor floors. Each one is designed around the interests and needs of the children who use it.
Roo’s Room is calm, nurturing and perfect for our youngest children. Babies benefit from soft textures, sensory play and a gentle routine that mirrors life at home. Staff focus on building secure attachments, supporting early communication and providing plenty of opportunities for safe exploration.
Kanga’s Rooms support growing toddlers who are full of energy and curiosity. These rooms encourage free flow play, communication, early independence and social interaction. Toddlers enjoy creative activities, early mark making, small world play and simple problem solving tasks that build confidence and coordination.
Tigger’s Rooms help older toddlers and pre school children prepare for the next stage of learning. Children enjoy exciting activities that build confidence, problem solving skills and early literacy and numeracy. The environment is rich in open ended resources that encourage imagination and independent thinking.
Every room provides opportunities for exploration, creativity and discovery. Staff members observe each child closely and plan activities that match their interests and developmental needs.
An exceptional outdoor area that inspires every child
Our outdoor space is one of the features families love most. It is large, secure and carefully divided into zones that support different types of play. The garden offers children the chance to build strength, coordination and wellbeing through regular outdoor experiences.
Children can dig in the mud kitchen, explore sand and water, climb, plant herbs and vegetables, look for insects, ride bikes or enjoy quiet storytelling spaces. Each area is designed to encourage natural curiosity and support a wide range of skills including critical thinking, teamwork and imaginative play.
Outdoor learning helps children build resilience, confidence and a connection with the natural world. Fresh air and active play are a daily part of nursery life at HunnyPot, regardless of the season, and children benefit hugely from this consistent access to the outdoors.
A balanced approach to learning and development
We believe young children learn best when they feel safe and happy. Our combination of structured routines and child led exploration gives children the freedom to grow at their own pace. Indoors and outdoors, every day offers something new to discover and enjoy. This balanced approach helps children develop socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively.
If you want your child to enjoy rich experiences that support every aspect of development, HunnyPot Nursery offers an environment that truly nurtures early learning.
